..one crazy Friday morning I was driving to the gym in Saar, still trying to recover from a terrible hangover.. spotted one of these ladies taking a joyful stroll in the MIDDLE of the road.. thought it was just the remains of alcohol in my blood weaving bizarre fantasies.. was very weird.. i love this island! it's so crazy :p
you know... there's something magestic about camels. when i see them like this, i'm still in awe.
i like them. we saw a huge heard out across the street from Al Osra one Friday. we went over and i touched a few of them. they seem gentle... altho i know they can spit doozies.
the depth of their eyes remind me of horses.... mysterious.
A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth, which is enchanting in its own way.
Love the Sara 'cause she:
- is a girl - is a crybaby - loves her family - hates her feet - loves the impact of fashion on the world but is not fashionable - is never full - is a literary snob - has good taste in music - is very patriotic although you couldn't tell - misses living in London - drinks a lot of caffiene - has a distinctive cackle - loves growing older - is scared of what the world is turning in to - wishes she could be a hippy - is set on her career path - is constantly trying to multi task - loves going out - likes singing old tunes in the car with her girlfriends - is going to marry a wonderful man - is always worried about things she can't control - is very calm (or so people tell her) - loves pedicures - does not like fish heads - likes to bake at Halloween - has the coolest siblings - loves things with "charm" - uses the word "fantastic!" and "brilliant!" - wants to be a hot shot one day - misses the snacks Hot Shots - is thankful for what she's been blessed with - loves Charcoal Grill's Kung Po Chicken - is trying to lose some weight - likes to go for runs - is always busy, always - loves playing Princesses with her neice

Oh my..! I think I've been away from Bahrain for too long!! Has this become the normal scene in our precious little island? :)
